While spending summers on a warm beach in the Lowcountry is one of the best reasons to visit Beaufort, South Carolina, there’s really no season that you can’t enjoy exploring and dining in one of the most darling coastal towns in the South.
I spent my summers growing up at my late grandmother’s quiet beach getaway with a great appreciation for seaside sandwiches and Lowcountry boils at home, but there have always been a multitude of amazing restaurants that provide wonderful lunch experiences.

Renovated from a former postal office building, this place has an airy beautiful design in a fresh white & sage green colorway. Great grab-and-go options. Hilton Head & Seabrook locations too.

Our favorite is the Biarritz with their amazing house strawberry mayo only available on the lunch menu. Daily lunch hours but select dinner nights. Patio seating available. Coastal seafood menu offering with a pet-friendly patio and reservations are accepted. This place is another Beaufort restaurant that comes with lots of local praise. The restaurant sits on the Port of Port Royal and the 11th Street Docks on the waterfront.
