I’m the first to admit that I’m more of a baker than a cook. My sweet tooth always overrides my interest in food. One of the first cookie recipes I started making was super simple. These No-Bake Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies are full of chocolatey goodness with just a hint of peanut butter. Plus they you don’t even need an oven!

- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1 stick Butter
- 1/3 cup Hershey Cocoa
- 2 cups Sugar
- 1/2 cup Milk
- 3 cups Uncooked Oatmeal
- 1/3 cup Peanut Butter
- 1/2 tsp Salt

Beat butter, cocoa, sugar, and milk as you bring to a boil for 1 minute.

Remove from heat.

Blend in the peanut butter, vanilla extract, and salt. Continue stirring as you add in the oatmeal.

Spoon onto wax paper and let cool for 30 minutes.

Store in a sealed container and enjoy!
