Creating a Custom Bunting Banner:
At the first year blogiversary brunch for Peachfully Chic last month, I put together a lot of custom decorations to really create that intimate and chic look that I wanted. You may recall the Gold Confetti Champagne Flutes I made, but I also put together a few other basic decorations that could easily be customized for your theme and colors. One of those other decorations was this DIY No-Sew Bunting Banner I made using scrapbooking paper and pom-pom fringe.
Supplies You’ll Need:
- Hot Glue Gun (w/ glue sticks)
- Scrapbook Paper to match theme/color scheme
- Pom-pom fringe (or some other ribbon)
- Scissors & Ruler
Full Set of Instructions are available in my original post on Craft Box Girls here.
No Sewing Required!
I used soft pastels to match the peach and mint colors of Peachfully Chic… and I thought the white pom-pom really added a cute extra flare instead of using a boring plain piece of ribbon. The ribbon is definitely a lot easier to find, but if you find any great pom-pom fringe… I suggest stocking up when it goes on sale. I mean how cute are those little tiny pom-poms!!!
You could also change up the size of the pom-poms and pennants depending on the look you are going for. I give the breakdown of what measurements I used in my original Craft Box Girls post here.
So if you find yourself planning a birthday party, baby shower, holiday celebration, or some other shindig – this is a super easy and quick option to pull in your colors palette!
Happy Crafting Y’all!
