Happy Mother’s Day!
There’s no better way to show mom that you love her than to celebrate with quality time. This year, I wanted to share a beautifully decorated pastel tablescape perfect for a fun Mother’s Day brunch to help celebrate that special mom in your life! To keep things simple, with the exception of a small bouquet of fresh pink-rimmed roses, I only used items around the house that I already had on hand from years past.
I started with a base of my quilted mint-colored placemats from Ballard Designs. I layered my grandmother’s vintage handpainted watercolor china over my silver-rimmed Lenox wedding china. I topped things off with pastel patterned linen napkins from Ikea with silver starburst napkin rings.  Adding in classic silver flatware and decorative glass goblets rounded off the place settings. Finally, for a simple and quick centerpiece, I stacked a couple of my favorite decor books to create a layered base for my pearlized foo dog figurine and a small votive with fresh roses. While there are a few different patterns featured in this tablescape, I kept the color palette within the same pastel family to bring the look together.
This tablescape would make any mother feel like a Queen! SO pretty and feminine.
